Cancellation, Returns and Exchange

The key points if you don't have time to read it all:

  • info@cachette.com for any return discussion
  • 14 days to change your mind for any reason and to let us know
  • 7 days to subsequently post your return
  • your items fully refunded (but not your original postage fee)
  • postage for your return is at your cost
  • you forgot to claim your parcel at the post office and it gets returned to us? Whilst we can ship it again, we will ask for the shipping to be paid again. If you decide to cancel, we will refund the item but not the original postage fee
  • any exchange possible and discussed case by case

 

We want you to be a happy customer so if you are not completely satisfied with your Order or if you have simply changed your mind that is fine. You must let us know as soon as you can and within fourteen (14) working days of receipt of your order. Simply email us at info@cachette.com explaining which item(s) you'd like to return.

 

Once the return request has been made and acknowledged by us your products must be returned to us within seven (7) working days of the acknowlgement by us (Cancelllation Confirmation), unused, in their original packaging and in perfect condition to CACHETTE, 5 Traverse Victor Hugo, 06130, Grasse, FRANCE. Please include your contact details and your Order Reference within the parcel.

 

We will issue you with a refund for the cost of goods and the original postage fee if you return your entire order if you are in France, we don't refund postage for international orders. Your credit card will be credited to such amount as soon as possible and within fourteen (14) business days of receipt of the Products by CACHETTE. The original postage fee will not be refunded if you return only part of the order. The risks and costs of returns are the sole responsibility of the Customer. Of course if you prefer we will happily exchange your products for something else to the same value.

 

Please ensure you use adequate packaging to prevent any damage or breakage especially when returning products that are fragile like glass. 

We accept no responsibility for loss or damage while in transit. We also recommend you use a recorded delivery service for your own protection.

 

We will make every effort to ensure our customers receive exactly what they ordered in perfect condition however, occasionally things may go wrong.  Please alert us as soon as possible if you find anything damaged, missing or wrong in your parcel. If you have had one one of these issues please email us at info@cachette.com as soon as you can and within seven (7) working days after receipt of order. After this time, and except for hidden defects, no claim will be accepted by CACHETTE.  We will acknowledge your email by return.  Please return the products to us.

 

Where defects have been confirmed and communicated to you by email, CACHETTE proposes the following: Replacement of the Product(s) at the expense of CACHETTE or, Reimbursement of the order price (price of products and delivery charges) and cost of shipping, no later than within thirty (30) days from the mailing date of notification confirmation of error by CACHETTE. Refund of return postage costs will also be refunded

 

In the situation where you forgot to claim your parcel at the post office and it gets returned to us, we can ship it again, but we will ask for the shipping to be paid again. If you decide you preferred to cancel it, we will refund the item but not the original postage fee.
